Starting July 1, 2026, access to records is available exclusively upon request via the new "Sala Studio" (Reading Room) portal at https://salastudio-archivi.cultura.gov.it/.

Users may log in using a digital identity (SPID, CIE, or eIDAS) or - in the case of non-EU citizens and users without a digital identity - by registering with their email address.

Upon first accessing the portal, users register for the Archive’s reading room by completing a digital research application valid for the calendar year.
