The State Archives conducts activities aimed at protecting, preserving and enhancing its documentary heritage. It carries out projects for the reorganization and inventorying of its collections, which are essential to making them fully accessible to users. It also plans digitization interventions, with the aim of promoting greater accessibility to documentation.
The Institute promotes and hosts cultural events of various kinds such as exhibitions, seminars, conferences and guided tours for the purpose of increasing dissemination and knowledge of the documentary heritage. It also promotes publications of studies relating to the preserved funds and topics of local interest.
In collaboration with schools or universities, it promotes school-work alternation activities and curricular internships with relative certification of training credits.
